Best Fairy Books {Review & Giveaway} CLOSED

My oldest daughter loves to read and my middle one loves to be read to so when we found the Best Fairy Books by Bobbie Hinman we thought they’d be perfect because the book comes with a CD. The CD allows you to read along with the little chime that tells you when to turn the page, and also has some cute fairy songs on it. As soon as we pulled them out of our mailbox my five year old wanted me to read it to her. Later I found her showing her older sister when she came home from school how she could listen to the book in her CD player, and of course after that they haven’t put them down! The Knot Fairy (the fairy responsible for tangling our children's hair at night) was a perfect choice for my girls because they are always complaining about the knots in their hair and I even found my six year old later saying, “Oh man that knot fairy really visited me last night!”

These books are told in rhyme that are fun and easy. The illustrations are BEAUTIFUL, whimsical and colorful! (That was my favorite part.)

There may be some children who are worried about the fairy getting to them- especially in the book The Knot Fairy so I like that the author at the beginning of the story says she thinks it’s true- not that it really is true, because that was the first thing my five year old asked and I think it quelled her fears because later I found her telling her older sister that it wasn’t true.

In addition to The Knot Fairy and The Belly Button Fairy this author has also written The Fart Fairy and The Sock Fairy.
