Pillsbury “Love the Pie” {Giveaway}

I love baking! Especially in the fall and winter months because there are so many great holidays that allow me the excuse to make all those yummy treats with extra calories. Luckily my husband usually takes everything to work with him so I get my taste of all the different treats I love and then he takes the rest from the house so I don’t sit and eat an entire pie or an entire plate of cookies. In the fall I really enjoy baking with apples! When I was offered the opportunity to participate in the Pillsbury “Love the Pie” promotion I was excited to hear it was all about apples and pie! Pillsbury and My Blog Spark sent me some really awesome apple themed goodies to help me make a pie!

We actually have a couple of apple trees in our yard that don’t yield very much or very large fruit but we have a really great neighbor friend up the road who showed up at our door with a bag of apples from their trees, her timing was perfect!

Of course my kids had to get in the kitchen and help!

The crust is my least favorite part of making pie so I was extremely grateful for the free coupon I was sent for a package of Pillsbury refrigerated pie crust.
