Busy Body Book- Organizer {Review & Giveaway}

I’m a pretty organized person- at least my personality would like me to be. I always find myself making lists for everything and trying to keep everything on schedule. Keeping a schedule for a family of 5 doesn’t come as an easy task either. I’m constantly asking my husband what he’s got going on but I always feel like I never know something was happening until the last minute. As for the kids it isn’t too bad right now but now that the oldest two are in school and we are a few months in it’s starting to pick up and get a little crazy and I know in a few years when they really get into sports and other activities it’s only going to get worse!

Busy Body Books sent me their Personal & Family Organizer. I really haven’t had a good planner that I have loved since the one they gave us in school in Junior High but of course now my needs have changed and I just haven’t found one fitting to our family until I received this one from Busy Body Books! I LOVE just about every single feature in this book.

The GRID format provides a clear view of daily and weekly schedules and activities to help you stay on track! I really like that each two page spread only shows a week at a time because while I need to be organized on a broader span my brain can only take thinking about one week at a time. The first page of the spread has an area to make notes and doodles- I’ve used this as my “to-do” list area. The second page in the spread shows the week with squares along the top for each family member. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that the week starts on Monday and the line near the bottom of the page separating the week days from the weekend. It just helps better with my eye flow when I’m trying to figure out what day it is. Although I love that you don’t necessarily have to put family names across the top of the page in your planner, this is what I’ve chosen to use it for but I also should probably get one to keep my blog straight with reviews, giveaways, press release, postings, etc.

Other features include:

• Full Page Month-at-a-glance (which gives you a monthly calendar to be able to look ahead and plan).
• Key Contact Pages (for all your emergency contact information)
• Removable Shopping Lists (I’ve already used these- I’m always searching for a scrap piece of paper to write my list on so this has worked perfectly!)
• 2 Pockets (Inside front and back cover to hold important papers, receipts, coupons, etc)
• Bookmark (I love this so that I can easily flip to the current week and it hooks right onto the spiral binding)
• Notes (A full page each week for notes or to do lists- there are also lots of pages in the back for more notes.)
• Sturdy, Clear Plastic Cover (I love the protection this gives the book and doesn’t hide the cute cover!)

I would definitely recommend that everyone purchase one of these Busy Body Book planners because I don’t know how I survived without it. I carry it everywhere now, you’ll either find it on my desk at home or in my purse when I’m out. I used it just the other day to carry my coupons in the back pocket and my grocery list inside, which eliminates the bulky coupon binder I’m used to carrying around and I don’t have to worry about loosing my grocery list.

Busy Body Books also carries some other great products such as the 7-Column Undated Weekly Grid Pad (for larger families- this can be hung on your wall at home or on your desk) and the Wall Calendar- I also love that the Wall Calendar fall in line with the rest of the products and has the same GRID format.
