The Cravory Cookies {Review & Giveaway}

I love cookies and around the holidays I especially love trying all kinds of different ones. It’s a nice little break from the chocolate chip cookies we always seem to make at home, and what could be better then having great cookies- having great cookies and not having to make them yourself!

The Cravory offers just that. Gourmet cookies of the most wonderful flavors, in fact they have over 950 customized cookie creations from sweet to savory. These cookies are definitely gourmet, rich and full of bold flavors.

I was sent a box that contained some of their signature flavors. Some of them included, Red Velvet, Birthday Cake, Chocolate Truffle, and Pancakes and Bacon. Yes not only do they have regular sweet cookie flavors but they also have savory flavors such as Rosemary Balsamic and Pancakes and Bacon- however the Pancakes and Bacon cookie did have a touch of sweetness from the maple flavor. These cookies were a little cold when they showed up at my door having been in a box on a truck in the middle of November but pop them right in the microwave for about 10 seconds and they’re perfect! I’d much rather have a cookie warm and if the chocolate melts just a little bit that’s fine with me. The Red Velvet cookies were my absolute favorite!  I’ve only had Red Velvet cake once or twice and didn’t think these would be my favorite but I loved the combination of Semi-Sweet and White Chocolate Chips. My second favorite and the kid’s favorite cookie were the Birthday Cake ones. I think they were visually drawn to them because they were covered in brightly colored sprinkles but after one taste I was hooked! You could taste the vanilla pudding inside that made the cookie extremely moist. If I had one complaint it would be the size of the cookies, while I loved that they were so big because it just meant we got to enjoy more cookies, there’s no way I could eat more then one, now that could be a complaint or that could be a positive thing. I like to enjoy a few cookies at a time especially if I have a few different flavors but we just cut all the cookies in fourths and tried them between me, my mom, my two sisters and my three kids- so between all seven of us we probably ate about 1 1/2 cookies and by the time we were done I was stuffed!

 

Between the seven of us I’d say it was an overall consensus that the Red Velvet cookies were the best with Birthday Cake coming in at a very close second but they also really enjoyed the Banana Cream Pie cookies. I don’t care too much for bananas and that being said I still thought they were pretty good- they tasted like warm banana bread.
