Kidorable {Review & Giveaway}

In Seattle good raingear is a must! Well the funny thing is that we hardly ever have it, you’d think with all the rain we have that we would be stocked but that usually isn’t the case. So when Kidorable offered to send us some of their great products I jumped at the chance. My daughter has been begging me for a new umbrella for months!  My daughter was even more excited when I told her she got to pick out her own design, it did however take her a little while because there were just too many cute ones, she wanted them all! We ended up choosing a style from their English Roses line inspired by Madonna’s best selling children’s book The English Roses. We chose the Houndstooth Umbrella, Rain Coat and Boots.

We were very impressed with the quality of the raincoat and boots. My five year old has been wearing the boots just about everyday since she got them since we have quite a bit of rain here in the Fall. Winter decided to come early today and dumped a huge amount of snow. Well I told my six year old daughter to get all dressed and she put on her new knit gloves from Kidorable and later when I looked out the window to check on the kids outside I realized that my five year old daughter had her rain boots on! They kept her feet dry and I didn’t hear any complaining about them being cold so I guess they work for snow too. I was a little disappointed with the umbrella because for some reason ours kept falling apart. We received two from Kidorable because they were so good about sending us out a replacement for the first one when it broke but both of them only lasted a couple days, they were just loosing the screws too easily I guess because I know that my kids weren’t being extra rough with them or anything, the problem was by the time the screw was lost it was really lost and we had no way of fixing it. So unfortunately we had to pass on the umbrella and Kidorable offered us a pair of their really cute knit gloves, that I mentioned above worked great for my six year old in the snow today. Yes like any knit gloves they aren’t insulated and will get wet but my daughter wasn’t complaining. The pair she picked the Butterfly Knit Gloves, had cute little butterflies on every finger and a string attached to each glove to put through her jacket. I loved this feature so that she wouldn’t loose them if she took them off and because we always seem to be loosing just one glove and have lots of mismatched pairs.
