I feel like I’ve had an overload of girl’s products in my spotlight reviews and giveaways lately and that this would fall in that “boy” category however after playing with it my girls LOVE these products! My kids are all very creative, love to build things so I knew they would love the Rokenbok toys.
We were sent two sets to review the Deluxe Rok Blocks perfect for preschool age 3+ for those younger kids who are just starting to learn how to put blocks together. The pieces have cone shaped tops that help you fit pieces into place. Not only did my 2 1/2 year old LOVE this set but my older girls also fit into the age range on this preschool set recommended for ages 3-6 and enjoyed putting the pieces together with their sister.
However then I pulled out the ROK Works Construction & Action Set (ages 6+) and they were even more excited. For one I think they were just excited about the bigger box. Then we started pulling everything out and my fifteen year old sister who was helping them told them that there was a remote control to control the truck and they couldn’t wait to put everything together! My six year old and sister did most of the work constructing the Construction Site while my five year old and 2 1/2 year old waited not very patiently but anxiously to play with everything. My youngest particularly enjoyed watching all the balls go up and roll down the motorized conveyor over and over again, while my five year olds favorite part was the remote controlled Rokenbok Loader truck.
The ROK Works Construction & Action Set is designed to be a home base starting point to expand upon. You can add the Monorail, Forklift and ROK Lift pieces. This is also not just any remote control toy but a smart remote control robot designed to be able to use multiple remote control items at once that will not interfere with one another.
Rokenbok is definitely a company I would put on my Holiday List for toys that can provide hours of fun for all ages!
Rokenbok construction lets children build their own ideas, and Rokenbok machines are so much fun because they work so well. The two together create endless, special playtimes for children and their parents. Each building set or remote control machine can be enjoyed alone, or as part of an ever-growing world with unlimited play and educational potential.
Rokenbok construction is different, because you make real working buildings that interact with Rokenbok machines. You can follow included step-by-step instructions, or it's easy to invent your own worlds; conveyor and chute systems, strong bridges, interactive railyards, even a whole working airport. The idea is to build fun interactions, and then have even more fun operating your vehicles to get the job done. That's why we say, "When the building is done, the fun has just begun."
Win It: Rokenbok has generously offered two of my readers the chance to win a Deluxe ROK Blocks kit.
