What is ShaToBu? I hadn’t ever heard of it until I ran into it on a blog I follow and read up on it. I thought it sounded like a really great product so I contacted the company and they willingly sent me one of their products to test out and share with you!
ShaToBu - The Workout You Wear - is the revolutionary shaper that helps women shape, tone and burn more calories during everyday activities. (Burns up to 12% more daily calories.)
The benefits go beyond ordinary shapewear - ShaToBu instantly gives a sleeker silhouette, but women can also see and feel a difference in their bodies with regular use over time. By incorporating resistance bands right into the garment, muscles work a little harder and more calories are burned during daily activities.
I love the idea of ShaToBu’s adding to your regular every day activities to help burn more calories. This seems like it would be especially helpful to women with such busy schedules who are constantly on the move but can’t find time to go for a run or hit the gym. All you have to do is change the undergarments you’re wearing!
For me the ShaToBu High Waist to Knee Shaper wasn’t comfortable. I’ve read so many things people have written about it’s comfort but I did not feel the same thing. I’m on the lower end of the size I received so it should be just fine but after sitting for a little while with it on my lower ribcage was really pretty sore and the next day felt a bit bruised. The leg portion of the undergarment was fine and I could feel the resistant bands working but I was hesitant to keep wearing it because of it’s discomfort. I will however say that has gotten me up and off my feet a little more because the discomfort is only really affecting me while sitting, it also has forced me to sit up straighter and in turn encourage better posture. After notifying the company of the discomfort I was feeling they sent me the Waist to Knee Shaper to try out. This product was amazingly different! I didn’t have a problem with the leg portion of the first product so I figured this one would work better for me, and it has. Not only does it feel like my muscles are getting a little bit of an extra workout without “working out” but the product is comfortable and still gives more of a sleeker look.
