Smelly Towel {Review & Giveaway}

I’ve seen quite a few reviews on the product Smelly Washer and it looks like a great product for those front loading washers that can sit and collect water around the rim inside and start to smell- which is definitely the case for mine. However we have recently moved into my parents house and our washer is now being used by our tenants so I am not able to try this product out on it, so the company sent me their new product called Smelly Towel.

Smelly Towel cleaner is a product designed to remove that mildew odor from your towels and clothing. In a house of kids this is definitely a necessity. Whenever my kids take a bath they seem to get water all over the bathroom which means lots of towels to wipe it all up and then those towels get thrown in the hamper and sit there soaking wet until I get around to the laundry. I hadn’t thought about it too much until recently but when they do that my bath rug is also getting wet and it just sits there collecting mildew and mold. A few weeks ago I decided to through it into the washer with some rag type towels and when they all came out the smell was extremely gross. A few days later I received the Smelly Towel cleaner product threw the bath rug in by itself with a capful of the product and when it came out you couldn’t smell a thing! So I then did my towels and had the same result all that yucky smell was gone.

I love that you use the product instead of detergent because I don’t like adding too many things to my wash because I know it will just create more buildup in my machine like fabric softener does therefore making the washing machine stink. The product leaves a nice light garden fresh fragrance. This can be used as an addition to your detergent (just half-teaspoon) if desired to enhance colors and keep your towels and clothing looking new.

This will definitely be a product I keep on hand when I wash towels.
