My Thoughts: Gene Juarez very generously offered me the opportunity to review their salon with a coloring service. I was extremely excited because my mom loves Gene Juarez Salons and Spas and is always raving about her experiences there. After checking in I was handed a robe and room and they took my coat and offered me a drink, which I gladly accepted. The high level of service combined with the friendliness of the staff highly impressed me. After only a few minutes of waiting my colorist brought me back to her chair where I was again offered a refill on my water and a few magazines to read. The colorist was very knowledgeable and worked hard to please me with the end result. Recently I had a bit of a bad experience with an at home box coloring kit and my hair was a bit darker then I would have liked with red tones that I didn't care for. I was VERY pleased with the end result of my hair- a nice medium-light brown color with lighter tones, I was very happy not to see those red tones anymore. My next visit will be to their spa. The atmosphere of the salon was nice and relaxing but I needed to use the restroom and they let me use the one in the spa lobby and I am now dying to get in there! Everything from the music, scents, and colors, being just a step away from the business of the mall outside it’s doors Gene Juarez’s spa is the perfect picture oasis of relaxation.

Eww I hate before and after pictures- the before ones always look so bad. I went with my hair all yucky and unwashed (which is preferable for a coloring) so this is what I look like with my hair just pulled out of a pony tail, the picture of me with the dryer of my hair even looks better then the before picture :).
