Rock ‘n Learn {Review & Giveaway}

Rock ‘n Learn has again offered me another title and another opportunity for one of my readers to win! My six year old daughter has come home with quite a bit of math homework lately and both of my five and six year old daughters have been earning a little bit of money. So I decided to get the Money & Making Change DVD from Rock ‘n Learn.

About the DVD:

My Thoughts: We’ve been teaching our children to put 10% of their money to tithing for our church, and then 1/2 in their savings and 1/2 in their spending accounts. The Money and Making Change DVD has helped my kids have a better grasp of what each coin is called and how much they are worth and how to make chance and add the different amounts together. I haven’t sat down and watched the DVD yet all the way through but I have heard it about five times now because they want to watch it over and over again when they get something new they enjoy. So I guess you can say they definitely enjoyed this DVD. I actually have learned a little bit of trivia from listening to this DVD- I never did understand why the dime was smaller then the penny or nickel but worth more. Apparently it has to do with when coins were made out of silver and the dime weight a tenth of what a silver dollar did, hence why it’s worth 10 cents. Of course I also love all the songs included on the DVD as with every Rock ‘n Learn title the beat of these songs just make them more fun!
