Dali Decals {Review & Giveaway}

Dali Graphic 3Looking for an easy and inexpensive way to decorate? Don’t like the mess of paint or the permanence of it? Okay I know you can just repaint over the  color- so it’s not totally permanent but I’ve done that time and time again, and what a pain! I’m sure most of you have heard of vinyl wall decals, well look no further because Dali Decals is the company you want to work with!! After much research I found Dali Decals to be the best option, with the best designs and the best price and if you can’t find something that you like just contact them because they take custom requests too.

My Experience: Right as school was getting out my girl’s ages 6 and 7 started asking me if they could have their bedroom painted. I threw around the idea because painting is such a big job that I really don’t enjoy but quite the expense if I don’t do it myself. A few weeks later we took our family vacation to Idaho to visit my husband’s family and our girls got to stay three extra weeks and spend some time with their grandma and grandpa. So while they were gone I decided I would redo their entire bedroom and surprise them. I kept throwing around ideas and decided I’d give vinyl wall decals a try. So I started my research. I won’t use specific names here but I researched quite a few companies – and based my decision solely on their design choices and price when I decided to contact Dali Decals. They had what I liked and they had a great price to go with it! They were a dream to work with!! Their employees were very helpful and their product shipped quickly and arrived at my doorstep right before my girls got home. The pattern I had ordered Circles- Bubbles- Set of 72- Wall Decals included 72 bubbles so I knew going into it that it was going to be quite the job. First I sat down with my sister’s help and cut out all the individual circles, then we removed the paper backing and stuck them all to the wall where we wanted them to go before actually rubbing any on. I used the included wall tool to apply the practice decal they had included – a cute little yellow sun in my 3 year olds room. She loves it! With some good pressure the vinyl went on really easy and after removing the sticky part looked great! So while I have to say that applying 72 different circles to my walls was quite a task and my little yellow applicator tool was dead by the time we were done it was a MUCH easier, quicker, less messy and a LOT cheaper idea then painting! I also love that you can remove the decals with ease – not too much ease- no you don’t have to worry about your kid’s pulling them off.

Oh and I have to say that at first when my daughter’s told me their favorite colors were dark red and teal I was quite worried about how it would all pull together but I think it looks great and I was highly impressed at how well the Dali Decals colors online matched everything else- the vinyl was the last thing I put in the room so I was crossing my fingers it would match.
