Our family loves the VeggieTales titles and our shelves are filled with them. I love their family friendly messages with a fun twist. These are movies that we enjoy watching together on Sundays as a family however lately as our summer has gotten a little bit icky with the weather in the Northwest and we’ve found ourselves cooped up indoors my kids have been watching them a little more, so they were excited when a new feature title arrived in the mail. These aren’t just silly little kid movies they introduce great values and are fun for adults to watch too. The Princess and the Popstar: A Story of Trading Places teaches an important lesson about being yourself. Available August, 16th for SRP $14.93 at all major DVD retail outlets. This title also features plenty of high-energy, fun music and bonus content, including the new snog, “You Never Are”, written and performed by Francesca Battistelli, new silly song sing-alongs and behind the music interviews among other extras.
About VeggieTales Princess and the Pop Star: A Story of Trading Places:
Princess Poppyseed’s life on her family’s farm is far from the glamorous but lonely world of her favorite pop singer Vanna Banana. On a chance meeting at a playground, Vanna and Princess cross paths and realize that they look almost exactly alike—which leads to the crazy secret plan where they decide to switch lives! As each girl realizes that the life they longed for doesn’t fulfill all of their dreams, they learn that the life God gave them is the one for which they were uniquely and lovingly designed.

- Audio Commentary
- “Astonishing Wigs” Silly Songs Sing-Along
