Legacy Family Tree is a database program used to enter in your family information to track your family genealogy. It can also assist you with sourcing, charting, and some research guidance as well. It is not, however, a research program in and of itself.
They offer a free standard edition available which is a full functioning program that does not expire. It offers the base program which will let the beginner get started in entering family information.
The deluxe software program unlocks 98 advanced features such as charts, calculators, wizards, and mapping!

I like that it makes the trees. I am making the family tree in another program and it is very difficult to see the tree (or print it when we go to a family gathering and I have 'resources' who can help me fill it in!)

Not sure which would be my favorite...mapping, wall charts, the relationship calculator, or interview reports are the most interesting features. I'll pick the interview reports because it helps one to go beyond names and dates...information about your family that you cannot get from sources like census records. Thanks!
