Zooni {Review}

Zooni-logo I woke up to beautiful sunshine this morning- which for Seattle in November is amazing! However after getting kids ready for school and stepping outside to take them to the bus I realized my car had a sheet of ice on it. The kids said, “It snowed! It snowed!” Well not quite- but the ice on the grass looked a little white. Right now it says it’s fifty degrees outside but I think this morning it felt more like about 43 which is pretty cold because I’m a total wimp when it comes to winter! The only thing I think I like about winter is how pretty the snow covered ground looks – for a day or two- and all the cute clothes you get to bundle the kids up in to go outside. They keep telling us that Washington is going to get the worst winter we’ve had in the last 25 years so I’m definitely a little scared and have started stocking up on our winter clothing items, making sure each child has what they need.

Zooni specializes in Mop Top Hats and M’uppet Mittens. Both hats and mittens are knitted but they aren’t your normal, traditional knitted items that your grandma would make. You know the ones that look pretty but don’t traditionally keep you too warm. Zooni’s items are all themed, including monkeys, flowers, puppies, lions, and many more cute designs! My daughter received a cute pair of their M’uppet Mittens in the Flower Power design. She’s 2 1/2 years old and in the past she hasn’t done very well with the mittens that don’t have a whole for each finger but she loved these ones! I think if they had puppies or dinos on them it would have worked every better but she acted as if they were puppets! She had the best time with them and wouldn’t dream of taking them off. Now that our winter weather is close upon us she’ll actually be able to use them outside instead of just walking around the house with them on. Not only are these mittens adorable but I know they’ll keep her hands warm, even if they get wet because unlike most knitted items they are also fleece lined to give them that extra layer!

Their hats are also really cute, all shagged- reminds me of a shag rug- and can be matched to a pair of their gloves. Hats are available in newborn up to size 5 while mittens start at 18 months- size 5. Oh and you can’t forget about their adorable ConFEETi 3D Socks!
