From the original producers of High School Musical and the director of The Tooth Fairy, Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure is a witty comedy about pursuing your life-long dreams and believing in yourself. The films catchy tunes, Sharpay’s lavishly glittery “pink” outfits, and the adorable featured male co-stars - Austin Butler ("Life Unexpected," "Ruby and the Rockits" and “Zoey 101”) and Bradley Steven Perry ("Good Luck Charlie") - will be sure to keep viewers fully entertained and laughing throughout.

Bonus Features:

  • BLOOPERS (on Blu-ray & DVD) - Ashley Tisdale and the cast cut up on set.

  • AUSTIN CAM (on Blu-ray & DVD) - Actor Austin Butler, who plays student filmmaker Petyon, not only shoots scenes needed for the movie, but takes his camera behind the scenes to see how Ashley Tisdale has fun between takes.

  • THE EVOLUTION OF SHARPAY (on Blu-ray only) - Ashley Tisdale traces the development of her bigger-than-life character from the High School Musical movies through her current movie.

My Thoughts:

I don’t typically like the Disney sequels of movies so I wasn’t a huge fan of all the High School Musical movies, however my to oldest girls – 7 and 5 1/2 years old- LOVE them! So they were very excited to see this movie arrive (it’s not typically one I would purchase even though I do have just about every big time Disney movie ever made). I thought in all fairness that I should sit down with them and watch it so that I could give you my honest opinion. It was definitely a cute movie that I enjoyed watching and it was definitely one of those girl power movies that showed that you can do anything you put your mind too. While I didn’t find it extremely realistic because not all of us fall into the mold of having well-to do parents with all the money in the world I did like her dad’s whole I’ll give you a chance to follow your dream and if it doesn’t work you have to come home and work for me idea. However when it comes to being realistic who honestly goes to New York and ends up starring in a Broadway show? Sharpay definitely had some fallbacks and had to endure some situations she wasn’t used to, it even shows her actually doing manual labor throughout part of the movie. If your kids enjoyed the High School Musical movies and really like Sharpay then they’ll definitely like this movie as mine did!
