Xtrema Cookware {Christmas in July Sponsor}

Xtrema Cookware is one of the great sponsors that I’m excited to announce will be included in our Christmas in July Giveaway Event! Please check out their site and products and then come back July 25th- 31st for your chance to win the pan reviewed below!

XtremaLogoBlack_normalDid you know that when producing non-stick cookware a synthetic chemical called perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA), is used to create its non-stick finish? Rather than risking unnecessary synthetic chemicals being leaked into my food one option is to switch to stainless steel however it’s extremely difficult to prevent food from sticking. I always hate when my non-stick pans are dirty and I have to use the stainless steel ones for eggs, I know I’m going to be scrubbing that pan out!

As my readers know I’m definitely into healthy eating and I definitely like to promote products that I feel can encourage healthy eating. So instead of giving up in frustration over pans that need lots of scrubbing or the risk of synthetic chemicals in your foods I’ve found a solution for you! Xtrema Cookware, healthy, green and safe offers ceramic stove top and oven cookware.

I was sent the 9” Flair Non-Stick Skillet with Silicone Handle Pot Holder. This pan is the perfect size for cooking just about anything! It’s my new favorite pan for eggs, chicken, and just about everything else I cook on the stove top. So what you ask makes this pan better than the others? Well for one it isn’t made with PFOA chemicals so you can rest assured that your healthy cooking truly is healthy for you and your family.

One of my favorite features listed above is its durability. I don’t need to worry about not using metal utensils in my pan. I was always worried about what I was using in the pan before because my nice pans were getting scratched up like no other, well not anymore! I also love the easy to clean surface and practicality of the pan.

I’m excited to broaden my cooking horizons and try this skillet out on the grill and would suggest to anyone looking for a healthy cooking option to add to their kitchen to look into these great pans!
