Kathryn the Grape’s Colorful Adventure {Review & Giveaway}

My two older girl’s are at the point where they can successfully read to themselves and love to do so but my three year old still needs a little extra help and her sisters love reading to her making bedtime a special time of day, even if we do struggle with them actually not going to bed because they just want to stay up reading, at least they’re doing something good.

You might remember last year around this time I reviewed and hosted a giveaway for the first Kathryn the Grape book called Just Like Magic! My girls all loved it and the giveaway response indicated that you guys did too so I’m happy to announce that Kathryn Cloward has come out with another Kathryn the Grape book and I’ve been given the opportunity to review and giveaway an autographed copy to one of my readers!

Review:

My three year old absolutely LOVED all the bright colors in this book and while I’m not sure she completely understood the story or was patient enough to sit and listen to the entire book she was definitely intrigued for a few minutes by all the bright colors and pictures. This book was perfect for my 6 and 7 year old daughters who I’m sure could relate quite well with it. I love the books that I feel like teach a good moral lesson to kids and especially those geared specifically towards girls- not that Kathryn’s adventure wouldn’t also be applicable for a boy, I just have girls so that’s what I relate to. I love the message of self confidence and encouraging children to be themselves and understand how special they are. This would make the perfect holiday gift for the child in your life.
