I was recently given the opportunity to do a product review from EcoMom where they offer Eco-Friendly Baby Products and Revolution Foods! Revolution foods are great for snacking and are really good to take on the go! In our Revolution Sampler we received three of the Organic Mashups Squeezable Fruit in flavors Tropical, Berry and Strawberry Banana. These had great flavor and there consistency reminded me of applesauce or baby food. My kids ate them so quickly they were complaining that they were all gone and wanted more. Both my 2 year old and 5 year old were able to easily squeeze and eat these without assistance and I loved that the top was easy enough for my 5 year old to open but not too easy that my 2 year old could get them open. I love that these are organic and healthy and definitely something I wouldn’t mind sending to school with my 6 year old in her lunch. I’ve tried this same product idea from other companies and the 3.17 oz size from Revolution Foods was perfect. I’ve found that the larger size other companies offer tend to get hard for my kids to squeeze the product out when they get down near the bottom and have a greater chance of making a mess.

We also received a couple of the Jammy Sammy Sandwich Bars in Strawberry Jam & Peanut Butter and Grape Jelly & Peanut Butter flavors. I didn’t care for the taste of these too much but my kids sure did love them! My 5 year old ate two and was asking for more. I like that they don’t have crusts and are a nice small size that could fit in your pocket, purse or lunch bag. However I’m not sure I’d send them as a replacement for a sandwich in my daughter’s lunch because my 5 year old easily ate two of them and I don’t think one would be enough for lunch. They do however make a great snack!

The last thing we received were a few of the Grammy Sammy Yogurt Filled Sandwich Bars. These were very similar to the Jammy Sammy Sandwiches in size, shape and texture. Both my kid and I liked the flavor of these but I did notice that these were a bit more crumbly and messy then the Jammy Sammy’s.

Being conscious about what my kids eat I loved that these products contained no trans fats, no high fructose corn syrup and no artificial ingredients.
