What little girl wouldn’t love to have a doll that looks exactly like her twin?! I’ve seen all kinds of dolls like this, I even had American Girl dolls growing up and my sister has one of the American Girl dolls that is supposed to look like you but when the My Twinn doll catalog showed up in our mailbox I was shocked by how much these dolls actually looked like the girls they were made for! It was amazing! American Girl only offers a few characteristics for you to choose from and they are definitely not as custom made as My Twinn.

My Twinn offers 23 inch dolls that are made to look just like your child (ages 3-12). Not only do you get to pick the hair color and eye color but you can send in a picture of your child so they can match the doll to look like them.

We were privileged to review an Adopt-a-Friend doll from My Twinn because the My Twinn dolls can take up to 4 weeks to make, so hurry and get your Christmas orders in! I did however request that if possible they send me a doll with blond hair because my six year old daughter has blond hair. (Pictured here with the doll is my five year old who has been playing with the doll. I’ve decided to give the doll to my six year old for her birthday, which is right after Christmas, so I wanted to keep it a surprise for her, let’s see if my five year old can keep that big of a secret for that long :) )

The doll we received is absolutely gorgeous! She is beautifully made and came with an outfit and matching accessories, hat, scarf and boots. Each Adopt-a-Friend doll is different and unique. You can search based on eye color, skin tone and hair color and they’ll show you the best matches. I think as my girls get a little bit older that we’ll end up purchasing the custom made My Twinn dolls because I just think they are so cool.
