Wendy’s Pick 2 Menu {Review & Giveaway}

Wendy’s New Pick 2 Value Meals for $4.99 let you choose a half-sized version of their four Garden Sensation salads, plus one side of choice.

Wendy’s was great enough to send me some gift cards to try out these new healthier value options, so my mom, my two year old daughter and I all headed to Wendy’s for lunch today. I love Wendy’s Spicy Chicken Sandwich so I was excited to see that they had the Spicy Chicken Caesar Salad and a chocolate frosty. My mom got the Apple Pecan Chicken Salad and a Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger. It ended up being plenty of food- the salads are both filling and satisfying. They were much more then just lettuce, croutons and dressing. My two year old who’s pretty picky about food and not a big eater was just fine with a few bites of the Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger and Frosty and the salads were plenty for us. You could easily feed a small child and yourself for lunch with these meals.

Salads:

• Apple Pecan Chicken Salad, a perfect mix of peak-season red and green apples, real blue cheese crumbles, sweet cranberries and roasted pecans, topped with warm grilled chicken
• Baja Salad, a hearty Southwestern salad that features fresh pico de gallo, guacamole and Wendy's original chili, all topped with a red jalapeno dressing
• Spicy Chicken Caesar Salad, offering hand-chopped Romaine lettuce and sweet grape tomatoes topped with shaved Asiago cheese and warm spicy chicken
• BLT Cobb Salad, which mixes crispy Applewood Smoked Bacon with real blue cheese crumbles, hard-boiled eggs, tomatoes and an avocado ranch dressing

Side Options:

• Wendy's Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger, featuring a hot and juicy beef burger with American cheese and fresh-cooked, thick-cut Applewood Smoked Bacon
• Wendy's rich and meaty chili
• a Baked Potato (cooked in an oven, not zapped in a microwave)
• One of our grilled or spicy home style Chicken Go Wraps
• A refreshing Dasani bottled water, a cool and creamy small Frosty, or any other small-size beverage

They are definitely a healthier meal option for people who are eating out to help manage your nutritional needs. Many of the combinations are less than 600 calories (without dressing), combining fruits, vegetables, nuts, dairy and proteins. You can view more detailed nutritional information on Wendy's website.

Now that I’ve got everyone really hungry and craving some great Wendy’s food- here comes the good part!
