Looking for a little help with your Back to School Shopping? I know I hate going to the mall and will do almost anything to avoid it at all costs, especially when I have to drag my kids down there with me and for shoes, well most of the time I do. Usually I can’t get away with just buying the shoes myself without kids because most shoes run differently when it comes to sizing and I worry that I’ll come home with something and it won’t fit and the kids won’t like it. I hesitate a little bit when it comes to shopping online for shoes, while it saves me from having to take them to the mall I’m always worried they won’t fit right. Well look no further! Umi has some great deals, has great quality shoes AND a great online sizing chart that after using to measure my kid’s feet a few times has been right on! Umi’s sizes are a little different because they are European but they have an American conversion chart and their shoes are made to fit generously which allows a little extra room so you won’t have any fitting problems. Be sure to download and print off the little ruler for little feet just to be sure you’re ordering the right size. BUT if for some reason the size is wrong, no worries, you’ll receive hassle free shipping and returns both ways!
I’ve gotten shoes for each of my older girls from Umi before but this time around I decided to get my little guy his first pair of shoes. He’s not crawling or walking yet but I think tiny little shoes are just one of the cutest things! I decided to go with the Sammie shoes for my 4 month old and ordered a size 18. He definitely has a little bigger feet for a baby his age and they did have a little extra room in them but they don’t fall off and it just gives him room to grown- Umi’s quality will definitely last long enough for him to wear them until they don’t fit.
These shoes are very lightweight but made out of very durable material. They won’t be falling apart anytime soon. I’ve heard that boys are pretty rough on clothes and shoes (my three older ones are girls so I’ve yet to find that out). Umi is a brand I know I’ll be loyal to throughout his childhood with all the wear and tear I’m anticipating my son putting on his shoes. The Sammie shoes retail for $38 and come in sizes 16-19 or U.S. sizes 1-4. I also think that while they are blue that they would be really cute on a little girl too.
