The new Wizard of Oz movie has come out on DVD and my kids are just a little too young to really appreciate it, plus it’s a little darker then I’d like for them so I was really excited to see Mickey Mouse Clubhouse with a fun new similar title!

I really loved that this DVD was full length rather than the typical shorter episodes. It’s run time is 101 minutes total and we loved every second of it! Minnie Mouse is a favorite in our house so we loved seeing her as the star. I also thought the characters were paired up very well. Goofy was a very silly scarecrow, Mickey a great Tin Man and Donald the Lion. The Land of Dizz was portrayed well as a very magical and fun place and reminded me of my trips to The Magic Kingdom in Disney World- very Disney. Of course Pete portrays the Wicked Witch trying to steal Minnie’s shoes- that guys always got a few extra tricks up his sleeves.
