Olive Garden Never Ending Pasta Bowl {GIVEAWAY}

index[2]Mmmm it’s making me hungry again just thinking about writing this post. The ever so popular Never Ending Pasta Bowl Special at Olive Garden is going on right now but hurry because it’ll only be available for another two weeks!

My husband and I had the opportunity to visit our local Olive Garden restaurant this last Friday night for date night and the food was divine! Olive Garden has always been a favorite restaurant of mine and now that I’m pregnant, well just about everything sounds 10x better and I’ve been eyeing those mouthwatering commercials for their Never Ending Pasta Bowl Special for weeks now!

REVIEW: I had the Penne Pasta with Five Cheese Marina sauce which also came with unlimited salad and breadsticks (I did have the option for soup instead of salad- which was definitely a hard pick because their Zuppa Toscana (spicy sausage, russet potatoes and cavolo greens in a creamy broth), and their vegetarian Minestrone both sounded so good! I did however opt for the salad because I love that huge bowl of unlimited salad they bring to your table with the Italian dressing and one of my favorite parts- the olives, I don’t often think to put olives in salad but I do love them. We definitely had to get another basket of breadsticks because you have to have some to dip in your pasta sauce and clean your plate with for your entrée portion of the meal. My husband decided not to get the Never  Ending Pasta Bowl but his classic favorite the Tour of Italy- which is definitely a lot of food, homemade lasagna, lightly breaded chicken parmigiana and creamy fettuccini alfredo. I know he wouldn’t have been able to  get the chicken or the lasagna with the Never Ending Pasta Bowl Special but when the bill came I definitely wished he would have- not that the price was bad for what he received at $17.95 but compared to the GREAT DEAL that the Never Ending Pasta bowl is at only $8.95 it definitely makes a difference. Mostly it just reassured to me that the Never Ending Pasta Bowl Special really is a great deal and you should definitely get down to your local Olive Garden for dinner out before this special runs out! (I know it’s called Never Ending but I was seriously full after only one plate and I didn’t want to stop eating- I think the restaurant was pretty busy that night because my server didn’t offer me the option to try any other combinations but I was very happy with the plate in front of me!)
